April Showers Bring April Flowers
It rained yesterday and the garden is happy. There are snowballs
and weigela.
The oakleaf hydrangea is full of buds.
The ornamental plum is full of fruit.
The false indigo (baptisia) is just starting to bloom
in purple
and yellow.
The Chinese fringe tree is beautiful.
Can you smell the banana shrub?
Through the holly, to the porch, you can see
the koi pond
and the iris in full bloom.

The flowers look so beautiful. It's been cool and moist here-most unusual! We put in a few vegetable plants. Hope to talk to you soon.
