April in Americus Georgia

Squeaky says "Happy April Fool's Day"!

No fooling here, just some photos from the Americus Garden Inn. The curly filbert, the most unusual plant in our garden, is the prettiest without foliage as you can see its truly contorted form.
Jacky is relaxing on the porch.

The extremely warm temperature today has our kitties looking for shade. Moxie is perfectly camouflaged under the wax myrtles.Kitten is basking in the shade.

Doesn't the gazebo look inviting through the cherry blossoms?

The iris are popping up all over Americus.

The blueberry bushes have just begun to bloom. We might just have some berries this year.

The first butterfly of 2010 in our garden.

There were actually 2!
