Another beautiful day at the Americus Garden Inn. Thought it would be the perfect time to give you a tour of the flowers in the garden. The Japanese magnolia located next to the koi pond has just started to bloom.
The daylilies are beginning to break ground.
Along the driveway, the daffodils have appeared.
A beautiful specimen in the stone arch garden.

Fall Photos of our Americus Georgia Garden
Take a stroll with me through the garden at the Americus Garden Inn as we truly begin to see the transition of summer to fall. Remember to click on the photos for a larger image.
The cannas are still in bloom.
There is actually fruit on the pineapple guava bushes. Kim tasted one and said it was reminiscent of a kiwi with hints of citrus.
Around the yard, there is the wonderful floral fragrance of tea olive.
The dogwood leaves are showing color.

The Frogs Arrived in time for Easter
There is nothing quite like the sound of frogs calling out in the night.
How many frogs can you find in these photos? There are a lot more than you think.
As the temperatures have risen, the koi have become more active in the pond and they greedily devour frog eggs.
The first knockout rose of the year.
