Stormy skies in Americus

While we are watching the skies over Americus, (we are under a tornado watch), I ran outside to take some photos. The dogwood tree is full of blooms.
If we have severe weather, we might lose some of our beautiful flowers. So, I took pictures of the Kwanzan cherries,

the azaleas,

red ruffle azaleas,

and the iris.
Hopefully, the storm will just pass us by.

Say Hello to the first dogwoods and azaleas of 2010

The first azaleas have just appeared in the garden. The yoshino cherries are still spectacular!
The canna tropicana is slowly awakening from winter's slumber.

The kwanzan cherry trees have just blossomed!
Anyone for a snowball?
The first blooms of the dogwood trees.
Hope you enjoyed today's tour of the garden. Visit us in Americus Georgia at the Americus Garden Inn Bed & Breakfast or online at www.americusgardeninn.com
